Axle play

I may have done a sort of an impulse purchase and I'm starting to think if I may messed things up. I took my 2017 Sportsman 450 on a trailer home and decided to do a service before starting it up to drive it. Yes I started it before purchasing, but I didn't drive it too much, just wanted to check if the basics are working. I did the service, replaced fluids and everything I could think of and now I'm in a predicament. Since I didn't check before, I'm noticing a bit of play in the axle at the diff both front and back. It's not a lot of pley, but it's there. How much should i worry over this? I'm not hearing any weird noises or clunks.

A little play at the diff can be normal, especially on used machines, if there's no noise or clunking during driving, you're probably fine but keep an eye on it just in case.

How did you check for the axle play...was it by rotating it by hand, or did you lift the wheels and check for movement?
