I have a 2008 Sportsman 500 that was popping a battery warning and dying due to overcharging from what i think is a bad regulator. After replacing the ECM, battery, bendix, stator coil, and solenoid (since it was clicking but not engaging), the starter still wont turn over. Jumping the solenoid gives only 5 volts at the starter, and all grounds are good and clean with a good battery. Im stuck and puzzled as hell, what should I check next?

seems like you already tried everything but getting a priest. Have you tried to bypass the solenoid and see how much voltage you get? If you get 12V and it doesn't spin, then it's probably the starter

I've seen something similar on a different machine and it could be something worth investigating. I've seen high resistance causing loss of voltage, so grabbing a multimeter might help confirm this.
